Brian Alan Koepke, age 47 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Sunday, December 4, 2016. He was born on May 3, 1969 in Bay City, the son of Allan and Joan (Gielda) Koepke. Brian graduated from Garber High School in 1987. He most recently worked for Dow Solar in Midland. Brian was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching his son play hockey and was very passionate about football, especially the Michigan Wolverines. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Denis; mother, Joan Koepke; sister, Sherri (James) Waterman; niece, Grace Waterman and Denis's mother, Jackie Bookmyer. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Allan and his grandparents, Leo and Josephine Gielda and Walter and Alma Koepke.

Funeral service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016, at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the wishes of the family.
